  • Evictions: CDC issued a nationwide evictions moratorium through Mar 31st, 2021. All rent will need to be payed when the moratorium ends. To be eligible, you mustsubmit this form to your landlord: nlihc.org/sites/default/files/National-Eviction-Moratorium_FAQ-for-Renters.pdf

  • Veterans’ rent and utility assistance:Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana at 504-483-3558
  • Mortgage Forbearance: CARES Act provides up to 120 additional days after May 18th. Negotiate with your mortgage company and get all agreements in writing. Contact Southeast Louisiana Legal Services for help.
