Medicaid open enrollment through Healthy Louisiana is available October 15-November 30, 2020. For those who are currently enrolled, this is your only opportunity to make changes to your plan. If you do nothing, your plan will remain the same. For the first time, Healthy Louisiana is offering two different dental plans. If you do not choose one, one will be assigned to you.
Whether or not you make a change, it’s important to review your plan. While coverage for primary care visits and prescriptions is identical across plans, different plans may offer additional incentives and programs for participants. Clients who need to see certain specialists will want to verify their plan will be accepted by their specialists next year. CrescentCare accepts all five available health plans under Healthy Louisiana.
Members can make their choices online at www.myplan.healthy.la.gov, by using the Healthy Louisiana mobile app, by calling the Healthy Louisiana enrollment center at 855-229-6848, or by completing the paper enrollment form that comes with your open enrollment letter. All enrollment changes will take effect January 1, 2021.
